Higher Surgical Training Programme and Sub-Specialty Specific Fellowships

The Department is proud to train two Specialist Registrars in Urology who are part of the National Training Scheme via the Intercollegiate Surgical Board. These trainees will be future Consultants in Urology.

This is a Joint Fellowship Programme with collaboration between Sashi Kommu (Urological Surgeon), Neelan Das (Interventional Radiologist) & Stuart Gibson (Senior Researcher at University of Kent).
Part of the Innovation Initiative of the Trust.

Stone Team
High volume Stone Unit with a Dedicated Stone Multidisciplinary Meeting every
Wednesdays 14:00 -17:00Hrs.
The Unit also has a Research Nurse. The Stone Unit is closely working with the Innovation Hub to develop Patient Engagement Tools and Robotic PCNL Puncture.
The Unit Has 4 Stone Surgeons.
